Governor Muhammadmian Soomro on Tuesday expressed deep grief
over the death of two innocent children of judge Rashida Asad
who were killed during a 'Police-robber encounter' on Monday.
Soon after his arrival from abroad on Monday night, the
Governor inquired about the fatal incident and ordered an
inquiry, a handout of the Governor's House said on Tuesday. He
said no persons involved in the incident would be spared and
they would be dealt with severely for their alleged act of
incompetence. Soomro expressed sympathy with the bereaved
family and said that the government equally shared the
family's grief.
He also expressed grief over the death of Muhammad Usman,
brother of senior press photographer Imdad Hussein and prayed
Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give
courage to the bereaved family. Ghinwa Bhutto: Pakistan
People's Party (SB) chairperson Ghinwa Bhutto has expressed
deep shock over the killing of two kids of an additional
sessions judge Rashida Asad on Monday. She condemned the
police personnel allegedly involved in the incident and asked
the IGP to resign.
TJP on law and order: Tehreek-e-Jaffaria Pakistan' provincial
president Allama Hassan Turabi has welcomed the recent steps
taken by the government for improving law and order situation
and said the government had started arresting 'terrorists and
RAW agents' working under the cover of religion.
Meanwhile, the Jaffaria Alliance Karachi at a meeting presided
over by Allama Abbas Kumeli reviewed the arrangement made for
holding a public meeting at Imambargah Chahrda Masoomain on
March 22 on the eve of Eid-e-Ghadeer. Gharib Ittehad Party
leader Ahmed Ali has demanded of the authorities to arrest the
killers of two office-bearers of his party Dr Naseem and Abdul
Ahmed. |
